This licensing assures you that your installer is properly trained and insured to provide all necessary electrical services in installing your generators, without a middle man. Not only for your assurance, it’s the law. The State of Louisiana requires that if the total cost of material and labor exceeds $10,000 (For Electrical and/or Gas), then the contractor MUST have a State License. Ask for a copy of it, because you deserve it.
